These terms apply when you use OKReviews (okreviews.com): when you read reviews, write a review or manage a business page.
1. Who can use OKReviews
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Write reviews only about your own, real experiences.
2. Your reviews
A review must describe a real experience you had with the business. You may not review your own business, your employer or a competitor. If you received a discount, a gift or payment for your review, you must say so in the review.
3. Permission to use your content
You keep the rights to what you write. By publishing a review, a reply or other content on OKReviews, you give OKReviews a free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, copy, publish, display, distribute, translate and adapt it (for example, to shorten it in a widget), in any language and format, to run and promote the service. This includes showing it in OKReviews widgets on the business's own website. Where the law allows, you agree not to use your moral rights to stop these uses. Translations are always marked as translations, and the original text stays available.
4. Moderation
We may remove content that breaks our rules. You will receive a written reason, and you can appeal the decision within 6 months.
5. Businesses
Businesses can reply to reviews and invite their customers. They may not pay to change a score, hide reviews, or ask only satisfied customers for reviews.
6. Your account
You can edit or delete your reviews and close your account at any time. Deleted content may remain in backups for a limited time.
7. Responsibility
Reviews are the opinions of their authors, not of OKReviews. We work to keep the platform reliable, but we cannot guarantee that every review is accurate.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. This page always shows the date of the last change, and we tell account holders about important changes.
