How do I delete my account?
Short answer
Go to My account, choose Close my account, type your email to confirm and click Delete my account permanently. Your profile and all your reviews are deleted.
Close your account
- Sign in and open My account.
- Scroll to Close your account and click Close my account….
- Type the email address of your account to confirm.
- Click Delete my account permanently.
What gets deleted
- your profile,
- all your reviews,
- your votes on other reviews,
- your access to any business pages you manage.
Deleted content may stay in our backups for a limited time before it is removed for good. It is never shown on the site again.
Before you go
- If you only want fewer emails, you can turn off news and tips in My account. Sign-in links and notices about your reviews are always sent.
- If you want a copy of your data first, ask for it. See What data do you keep about me?
- If you manage a business page, make sure a teammate can still manage it.
