How do I invite customers to leave a review?
Short answer
Connect your shop on the Get reviews page with the WooCommerce plugin or our API. Every order then gets an invitation email automatically, and you choose when it's sent.
Connect your shop
Open your business dashboard, choose your business and go to Get reviews.
- WooCommerce (WordPress). Install the OKReviews plugin and paste an API key. See How do I install the WordPress plugin?
- Your own shop or system. Send each order to our API with an API key.
Create API keys on the same page. Copy a new key right away, because it is shown only once. You can revoke a key at any time.
Choose your settings
Under Invitation settings you can set:
- how many days after the order the invitation is sent, so the customer has time to receive it,
- one reminder if there is no review, and when to send it,
- how many days an invitation stays valid,
- the sender name, shown as "Your name via OKReviews",
- a reply-to email for customers who answer the email.
Only owners and admins can change these settings.

Reviews from invitations are labeled "Invited" or "Verified order". See What do the labels on reviews mean?
Track results
The Get reviews page shows invitations sent, opened, reviews received and your response rate for the last 30 days, plus the status of recent invitations. Customers can stop all invitations from a link in any invitation email.
